I am a runner. My main competitive focus is in Orienteering, where I have competed at an international level since I was a junior but I have also represented Wales or GB on the track, road and cross country and have British Championship medals on the hills. I want to push myself to see how good I can be but the main reason I run is because I enjoy it.
I’m a curious person and studying sports biomechanics has given me an outlet for that curiosity. I must be enjoying it as I’m spending three years studying a PhD on the biomechanics of golf. Specifically ‘Movement and shot outcome variability in the golf swing’.
